Being the lead actor, he gets all the credit, just like he would if it turned out great aka "Silence of the Lambs" Instead ppl will make up excuses when he just was horrible & did a bad job "acting" and the movie was the worst ever! | Thank you TGx and everyone for another week of fantastic movies to watch, and to the entire staff and volunteers as well, always very much appreciation for all the help you all give you the community week after week! :) With respect to the movie "Zero Contact". the encoder did a great job and it was a perfect A/V=10/10...5 stars as indicated above. As far as the movie goes, it was very dry and boring & slow, and not a thriller! If I could give it a 0 I would to match it's title, bc I believe Hopkins is trying to be a "fake" and act like he's Mr. Philosopher. It just didn't work & most of the movie was shot on a Cell Phone, which is ok typically, but they try to project this A.I. routine and everything is such a big secret,,,lol. I still haven't figured out what, the acting? Let's go with that! M=1 only because I saw it all the way through. it should get a M=0 bc SAH knows better!  |

| OK, I'm going to stick my head above the parapet here and yes, I'm chucking my opinion in the ring as "a guest". I often have a brief read through comments on any particular movies to try and get "a feel" for that movie and whether I think it's worth a watch. Lately, however, the posters in this community seem to have degenerated into bouts of shit-slinging at each other's OPINIONS to the complete detriment of what a forum like this is for. i.e. quality of audio and video, perhaps with a passing comment on one's enjoyment (or lack thereof) of the film itself. BOTTOM LINE: We ALL source movies from sites like this FOR FREE! If you're not sure about whether to download a movie, find a trailer, then make a decision. At worst, download it, watch the first ten minutes, decide it's not for you and delete the thing from your server. Somewhat akin to paying for a ticket at the cinema for a movie you weren't sure about and walking out half way through, annoyed you've wasted the money. I, for one, am very grateful for all the work that the various encoders and site authors put in to provide a FREE service. Stop using this for petty squabbles. |

| Guest 2141 = That's exactly why you rate the encoding/Torrent separate from the movie! Same method I use, about 15 minutes on movies, & when there is a good lead actor, I'll watch the entire movie. If bad, 15 min. & rate the "Audio"/"Video" on the Torrent(encoding). The torrent rating = "A/V=10/10...5 stars above". |

| Exactly but it's not @Jaxe or any Americans fault, & think he being "Welsh" is wonderful. Hopkins is a great actor, but his acting was pathetic & "Zero Contact" was the worst film ever! | I downloaded the bigger size file here thinking it having Anthony Hopkins in it would have been a great movie. I WAS WRONG from the first minutes, I could see it was a B GRADE movie and then in the movie, a camera is on them all the time Tracking Shots. not a way of movie-making I am accustomed to If you don't like these tracking shots don't bother downloading them. All I can say is in Synch & the quality is good & Thank you to the uploader. BUT NOT WORTH EVEN downloading. any movie where the camera follows actors all the way through it I say is terrible. Not the way I like movies to be. so I don't watch them this one I tried to watch but couldn't even by fast-forwarding it. it is not a movie for me and millions of others. Terrible absolutely Terrible don't waste your time or quota. POOR SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS he too is now taking roles he may not like to take. in this, he only Narrates it more than being in it. GARBAGE |
