| Not nearly as bad a movie as these "members" try to make you believe. As for the theme, yeah, COVID is part of every day's life, whether you like it or not, whether you acknowledge it or not. We are lucky that the mutations turned out to be less harmful than the first strain. We are lucky that scientists around the world worked overtime to develop cures, vaccines and perhaps soon medicines against it. However, we are lucky to have survived, many didn't. This movie is about a young girl who is, because of her precondition (CF), among those who were at high risk from the very beginning. About the dangers she faces minute after minute and the improvidence of all too many people putting her life at stake by their inconsideration. This all shown in a thought provoking way, well acted, well directed, well shot. As always: form your own opinion and don't let others, who didn't even bother to get informed, dictate what you should think. That goes for the pandemic as much as for the movie. Take advantage of the fact that you have been granted a brain. |
