appreciate the upload, but Im waiting for a much better version to pop.... |
Read and learn, losers. It has been explained how you still do support the film industry even though you're only pirating. |
Still not getting the money for it and i use pirates to decide if i'm going to spend my money on blu-ray or tell my friends to watch it. If it's woke (Negative: inserts race and gender based on a far-left ideology that puts itself over the movie). Not sure why people like you get so upset unless your woke... |
We're not upset. We're just trying to open your eyes. You don;t pay them directly, but they still profit from you. The only way to hurt the industry is to let it bleed to death, but you keep resuscitating it. Use your brain, train that organ. And what's with this "woke, woke, woke"? Your latest blind spot? |
I use pirates to decide if i'm going to spend my money on blu-ray etc or tell my friends to watch it. If it's WOKE (Negative: inserts race and gender based on a far-left ideology that puts itself over the movie) i don't spend my money. If it has a good chance to be woke (2022) i speed watch it to confirm or leave it on in background and never watch it again. And tell all my friends how bad the WOKE movie is AND NOT perpetuate the woke industry! |
Woke, woke, woke. If anything doesn't suit you, it's "woke". Is there any thought of your own in your head or are you parroting everyone you choose to hear? |
@Guest-1753 Woke used as negative is an easy way to point at what is wrong with the movie and rallies people. I love movies i don't want to destroy them i want them to be great again. I admit there is confusion to what it means hence (inserts race and gender based on a far-left ideology that puts itself over the movie) |
Anyone who uses the term "Woke" is an asshat choking on their own pessimistic sh*t. Please just STFU, whiners. |
Only the none woke use the word "woke" to disqualify anyone who's not as conservative (read: reactionary) as they are. |
@jaxe exactly right about Depp and Heard and now looks whats happening to Ezra Miller aka Flash as a result of his recent arrest, seems to me these studios are enforcing some sort of morals clause in contracts these days - never before have public figures and celebrities been held to such high standards....except maybe for being a communist. |
Public opinion translates at the cash register. And they're all in it for the money. It's simple ABC. Remember Subway and Jared Fogl. |
Hollywood is just one big cult for the overpaid wealthy |
Megan Fox once said: think about it, we actors are kind of prostitutes, We get paid to feign attraction and love. Other people are paying to watch us kissing someone, touching someone, doing things people in a normal monogamous relationship would never do with anyone who's not their partner. It's really kind gross |
But then again, who is Megan Fox. She's not a character actress, but is indeed selling her body (for whoever likes that type). She is speaking of herself, not of all actors. |
"Hollywood is just one big cult for the overpaid wealthy" And that's why you're all over here, day in, day out, waiting on the next flick to download. Not realising that you're the ones who keep Tinseltown alive and kicking. The town drunk complaining about the taste of beer while ordering yet another pitcher. |
3127, I think you're missing something. Hollywood doesn't make any money off people downloading their movie, so this doesn't keep Tinsletown going. Your analogy would have to be the town drunk complaining about the taste of beer while robbing the liquor store. |
And that's where you're wrong, Guest-2442. They may not profit directly from you, but you perpetuate the industry, you share your enthusiasm for the products, you are their advertising. |
You should watch them go nuts when a new Marvel or Star Wars is about to be released, when a popular video game is made into a movie, when the latest special FX will be shown in the next science fiction or martial arts movie. The town drunk is thirsty, yet the town drunk complains about what he yearns for. |
@Guest-3127: I am not keeping Tinseltown alive. Last time I paid to see one of their movies in theater or paid for Cable TV/ Satellite TV/Direct TV/Video On Demand service was over 17 years ago. |
@Guest-3127 AGAIN: ALSO I have not rented or purchased a VHS Tape, DVD, in 20 years. |
@Guest-3127 How is pirating movies keeping tinseltown alive? I say not enough people pirate movies. |
"I say not enough people pirate movies." Yeah, when everyone steals, theft is no longer an issue. The logic of an amoeba. |
Like jaxe, I too have opted out of paying for film and digital media for almost 20yrs. since Demonoid 1st came on the scene. My personal reason being when The Lord Of the Rings was released on DVD. prior to that I had purchased over 300 different DVDs and before that over a 1000 VHS movie titles. But the day TLOTR was released, I finished my work early so i could be the 1st person in line a Tower Video near union SQ in NYC so i could get the 1st copy of what I thought was the definitive version of the movie. I'm the third or fourth person there,i grab my copy, Take it home, and before the movie plays, there's a trailer for the upcoming director's cut version coming soon ( does anybody else have that DVD ) I was gutted. I took a half a day off to find out I don't possess the definitive version,(mind you, this was before a lot of studios were doing director's cuts and extended versions) I told one of my co workers the next day about it, he being a tech nerd (God Bless him) said He was getting movies on IRC for the last 5 years and he explained how,but I was a total retard with tech stuff, so he gave me an invite to Demonoid, and showed me what I needed to do to rip and burn ISOs. He also showed me how to build my own pc and how to mod PS2 xbox and burn games.Needless to say, I never looked back. Although during that time I did purchase memberships to both Netflix and Blockbuster rentals to burn the rest of my movie and game library at the time. But once Bluerays started showing up from the Scene, that was "Game Over" Blockbuster was going out of business, and Netflix went to full streaming svcs. So for almost 20 years with the exception of DVD rentals which ended 2007 I paid zero for digital media. This is all thanks to Warner Bros/New Line Cinema and Peter Jackson for trying to milk TLOTR trilogy. So a BIG thank you to them, for showing me the light. Oh and one last thing, the guy who keeps posting on different movies with the "Drunk Guy "analogy, you don't know Shit. |
It's always the other one who is to blame for your felony, isn't it? |
One edit. My bad, It was the Two Towers release that had the trailer for the director's Cut /extended version so that was actually 2003. I already purchased the fellowship, it was The Two Towers that changed the game for me. Getting senile in my old age. |
For me, guv, due honours to your kind memories. It was the realization that I was too poor to do shit about it. They never released LOTR in any theater I could afford. I & my brother were already members of the scene by then and could procure oddball stuff from the kind generosity of your countrymen. |
@Guest-2767 I blame no one, where do you here me do that? I willingly without reservation CHOSE to pirate. I was just recalling the moment I CHOSE to do so,and the circumstances which led to me doing so. Blame is a pejorative term. I thanked Warner bros and Peter Jackson for enlightening me. You lurking shill for MPAA |
Felony? I guess you're right about that. When politicians are bought to change the laws in a country by corporations to redefine the criteria for what constitutes a felony crime you're absolutely correct sir. |
Theft is theft and therefor a felony by law and an antisocial act by moral. But again is the other one to blame, right? It's the politicians who make your theft into a felony. It's your neighbour, objecting to your theft of his property who makes it antisocial. |
@Guest-2015. Dude like for real, take your moral compass outta here. You're definitely in the wrong place with it here. |
Never thought about why I'm here? To pirate, just like you. I'm merely saying that you should own your decisions and not blame others for your choices. Evidently, a serious discussion is not for the intellectual growth impaired; everything gets over their head. |
@Guest-2015 Since "we're " being pedantic about theft, in the US, NOT all theft are felony crimes, so get it right bub. What's anti social is subjective as well as what's moral. Is Morality defined by governmental law? If yes. then morality is constantly in flux and never static. I'm talking to a child. Necro. |
Guest-1206 He didn't ask you why you are here, he said take your morality compass somewhere else. Now I'm asking you, but with manners, please? |
The last digital media I bought was on something called 'compact cassette' I will never ever pay for digital or any other media for that matter |
Wait for the better copy, 45 days standard Warner Bros theatrical release to streaming release window, this will be on HBO Max in late May, estimated week of May 23rd. Hopefully this sequel will be better than the previous sequel, the 2nd film, because that was just boring. |
@Guest-1785: "My personal reason being when The Lord Of the Rings was released on DVD" and "I don't possess the definitive version". And that's how you blame others for your piracy ever since. You chose to pirate, but you point the finger at the industry for your choice. How about owning your decisions? |
My personal 'tipping point' was spending my hard-earned bucks from a weeks work at the Dollar & Dime store on the 'directors cut' of Blade Runner I felt so ripped-off I haven't spent a dime on since |
John... I've always trusted your judgement on cam watchability. How does this look in darker, faster paced & CGI scenes? As far as blurriness goes? Worth the DL, or best to wait? Cheers mate, Kaz. |
It's always best to wait. There is no reason to put your enjoyment to the test for a copy that inevitably is of lesser quality than a decent rip. The world is not likely to end in the next few weeks, so just be patient. |
Funny how some rate the torrent quality high and others the same torrent low. What gives? |
@Guest-9438; This varying rating may very depend on how much information / image detail a person is able to process. So there may be some, who's visual cortex gets flooded by just a CAMrip. While others in contrast may feel much under-stimulated by such 'quality', or even perceive these CAMs as abuse sort of. |
Well, we do know that some are indeed not able to process as much as the site rules, their cortex getting flooded with information period. That much is clear. |
