Very watchable for a cam. No auto focus bullshit so worthy of about a cam 8. Brightness and contrast could do with a tweak, which I did in vlc. Sound is a 5. Switched to headphone mode and jumped to a 7. Movie only worthy of a 5 overall. Had potential but 50% of the jokes fell flat & the ending was unfulfilling. Just my opinion so judge for yourself. Wish I could upload my filtered copy for y'all but I'm super low on bandwidth credit this late in the month. Fuck Australia lol Cheers, Kaz. |
Thx so much TGX for another awesome CAM & a great week of content, very much appreciated! ;) Definitely looking forward to watching some of the titles this weekend, and catching up on some others as well! Thanks to the entire team for all the hard work and effort with much gratitude to everyone not just for the content alone, but for everyone who contributes to us having the most incredible & best site around! 10/10!!:) Very much appreciated throughout the entire year to everyone! :) With respect to "The Lost City", the Torrent for me is excellent just as Ambulance was or any of the others that come from "slotslight". I have no issue with a "watermark" or a couple ads tbh, one is typically always near the beginning as well, and possibly 2 more, but it's never a distraction, sometimes for me it's a good reminder to get more to drink or TMI here (use the restroom). lol j/k ;) In any case, it's refreshing to see good acting, even if the movie does resemble in many ways "Romancing the Stone" & because it was funny thought it had a touch of "Jumanji" in it as well :) Think they did a fantastic job as all I thought was she's usually in good movies, and so is he, so figured I would be entertained & they wouldn't take "bad roles"! Was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the movie! :) The torrent was A/V=10/10...5 stars(above) & especially I have no issues with the CAM not just being watchable "clearly", but "can understand" every word! I rated the movie in a range between M=6.0-6.5 in that range(per IMDB standards). Think many will enjoy the movie & unclear why people wait for better copies, when they remember how the old CAM's used to be! While I do understand, waiting will provide different quality & it's a choice, for those that really want to see the movie, don't let other dissuade you from thinking the CAM's that TGx releases are in any way but "watchable", and "can be understood"! They are not like 5-10 years ago when we would all have to wait for a CAM/TS to go to a next higher level version :) Have a great weekend everyone! :) |
Worst part about the ads for me is I usually wear headphones when watching on the laptop. The sudden volume increase can mean "aspirin time" lol |
So it's a ripoff of Romancing The Stone, which was a great movie. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088011/ It was director Robert Zemeckis second directorial job. He (and Bob Gale) went on to create the Back To The Future stories and character and they were Academy Awards nominated for it: Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen Back to the Future (1985) Shared with: Bob Gale. IF YOU Don't believe me that this is a ripoff of Romancing The Stone, as I was typing this comment I decided to GOOGLE "Romancing The Stone" and LO AND BEHOLD, LOOK WHAT GOOGLE FOUND: https://www.google.com/search?q=Romancing+The+Stone&tbm=nws |
Appreciate the info. Will check Romancing the Stone the out :) Back to the future were great time to rewatch! |
how about you put quality sound etc instead of all this bull shit. |
Liked Romancing The Stone, has a decent cast so i'm in when an HD copy is floated. |
Jeez, even the poster is a rip-off of Romancing the Stone Is that Michael Douglas flying the plane? Where is Catherine Zeta-Jones when you need her? |
Here's posters of Romancing The Stone. Much better than this Lost City ripoff. http://www.impawards.com/1984/romancing_the_stone.html Also Kathleen Turner was 29 when she made that movie. Sandra Bullock is 57. Kind of old to be gallovating around a jungle playing Jane: she doesn't have the body strength and stamina! |
if it's a good movie, i don't care if it has some similarities to Romancing the Stone. |
Exactly Jaxe!! That's hilarious!:) Tbh..to me, it's worse when it's a remake, called the same name, and it comes out horrible! This movie they changed 20% of the content & called it good! ;) Lol j/k Next, it will be..."Indiana Jones..." or maybe "War of the Roses"? Lol Have a great weekend! :) |
Eventually they all do. Wonder what it feels like to wake up from surgery and not being able to recognise oneself when looking in the mirror… |
