WOW!!! Great cast, a great director and it still ended up being rubbish Reminds me of "The New world (2005)" a total waste of money, talent and (most importantly) TWO HOURS of my life that I will never get back. |
Def gonna give this a go. Star studded line up - promising story-line... We are long overdue for a really good flick. Thanks for the UP! |
All I can say is WOW WOW and WOW. This movie did not disappoint. Months of being starved of worthy entertainment finally came to an end with this movie. Thanks to GalaxyRG - quality is top notch as usual. Highly recommended! |
A/9 v/9 - Thanks for the great upload GalaxyRG! Such a pleasant change to be entertained by an excellent production, an excellent director, and top-pocket performances by the actors. We didn't pause it once while watching; waited until the end credits before making a dash to the WC! |
Decent movie with good acting, although the plot was a little predictable. Look out for the sumptuous Art Deco interiors and buildings, superb! |
This looks awesome!! Big thank you for the upload GalaxyRG! A big fan of Guillermo del Toro, so I am sure this should be a good watch! |
Miscast Bradley Cooper and Rooney Mara's wooden uninspired acting ruins what could have been a good movie despite it predictable plot and thin writing. |
For those who are too young to know or remember, this is a remake of a great 1947 film with star actor Tyrone Power cast against type. You don't need to have seen the original to watch this new one but after you've watch this , you should watch the original too. https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/14664301/Nightmare-Alley-1947-720p-BluRay-999MB-HQ-x265-10bit-GalaxyRG https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/14449431/Nightmare-Alley-1947-iNTERNALBDRip-x264-MANiC-TGx- |
1947 was like *reaches for calculator* 75 years ago How time flies I reckon most folks old enough to remember or know this are taking a dirt nap |
Ever heard of an archive, a Blockbuster, a library, the internet, Guest-3342? |
Thanks Jaxe, just watched the 1947 version, which was excellent. Not quite as sophisticated, but one wouldn't expect it to be. |
I see the name Guillermo del Toro anywhere in a production, I don't ask: why, if, how, when, who, what, shoulda coulda woulda and what if. I download it right away. |
Agreed but I'm pissed at him that he abandoned the Hellboy series. Yeah he didn't stick strictly to the canon of the graphic novels, but I loved the look and stories of both of his Hellboy movies. Was not a fan of Mr. Facepuncher who replaced Ron Perlman. |
Ron Perlman isn't in Hellboy 3? Great, I'm finding it now. Couldn't stand that POS. |
His target audience is unintelligent children so you really didn't need to announce that we could have just assumed |
Guest - 1564 Stfu man..Del Toro is legitimately one of the best directors ever. |
Pearlman doesn't have an important role in the movie. Pretty much transient. |
This is based on the 1947 movie starring Tyrone Power, from the novel by William Lindsay Gresham. It might be interesting to watch this and then the original to see the differences. I mean a remake of something like the Third Man would be pointless: nobody today could equal the charisma of Orson Welles' Harry Lime ("the cuckoo clock" line still cracks me up), but some remakes can be better. There's one appears to be a good working copy of the 1947 Nightmare Alley on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/4PJ-ZP_UltI Won't be there forever I'm guessing, so use the y2mate extension on Chrome to download it_:D |
