Little known to whom? Only the non-European underestimate the importance of the Antwerp harbor, then and now. |
Battle of the Scheldt? I know about it. Everyone does. Except today's generation. |
I agree with Reaper, this is a decent film, but I also agree with Guest-7018, regards knowing about the importance of Antwerp. Well worth the download, so my thanks to he uploader. |
Hate Dubbed movies, except for Star Wars (1977) dubbed into Spanish, awesome. |
Let's not be unkind. Amphibious assaults, air superiority, the Russian hordes, the Battle of the Atlantic.... There were so many important facets and contributions from all of the Allies in bringing that terrible War to an end, and preventing a repeat, to this day. A Yank, here, looking forward to viewing this movie about a chapter which cemented the success of the Normandy invasion. |
stupid movie, just see the last 15 minutes for ''some'' action , just a LONG boring 2 hours experience |
Thank you Galaxy Like most i guess I knew Antwerp was captured but i never heard of the Battle of the Scheldt that followed, enjoyable movie |
This was awful. Historically inaccurate. Wrong uniforms and equipment. The movie is like 4 different vignettes short stories that were forced together trying to make one movie and it was an incoherent mess. Many of the dialogue was out of place for 1944. As far as it being about the Battle of the Scheldt, yeah, in theory only. It's like making a war movie, show blue ocean and coconut trees and desolate island and then said hey this is about the Battle of Midway but you don't see a single warship or aircraft carrier in the movie. |
DUBBED versions are for Americans who are too lazy to read subtitles. Always watch a film in its original language. |
Over twenty million children, women and men perished and you didn't see enough blood? You don't like movies. And certainly not ones that have anything to do with reality. |
