Or the historically inaccurate U.S.S. Indianapolis: Men of Courage which was an insult to the memory of the 879 brave men who died when it sunk in July 1945 after being torpedo by a Imperial Japanese Navy submarine. |

jaxe opinion = Hard Pass. Cams nowadays are or too dark or too bright, middle ground doesn't exist anymore. A/V: 4 |
Mandy and Pig were both excellent, and Guess-1777, I happened to like Willy's Wonderland a lot. To each his own, I guess. But I will not miss a Cage flick, because there is always a relatively even-odds chance that it's a winner. He has been in some of my favorite movies of all-time. Now, Bruce Willis on the other hand ... |
Cage is a force of nature. This could be utterly golden and glittering, like Joe, Mandy, or Pig. This could be a role he took to pay off the bankers. To find out which, just watch it or read the critic reviews. This cunning strategy allowed me to avoid all but one or two of his money roles. I wasn't sure about Pig, his movie from a couple months back, so I took a chance and watched it raw. Worth it. |
I look forward to the gonzo Cage flicks but the quality is a hard pass. I read "hard pass" in Nick Cages voice as a treat though. |
That will be a no from me. I made the mistake of watching Cage in "Willy's Wonderland". I'm still in therapy. |
Cage is a crap-shoot, a lucky-dip, you never quite know what you are going to get, but it is still a risky strategy to throw all his movies in the trash without a second thought, otherwise you would have missed out on the awesome 'Pig' |
