avatarI remember this. I thought this movie was so cool. This was one of the first movies we ever rented after Dad bought our first VCR from Federated Electronics stores in 1985:

a Fisher 4-heads VHS Hi-Fi Stereo.

I still remember Dad telling my siblings and I it was $500 ($1,268 today adjusted) and he hoped we appreciated him for spending his hard earned money on what he considered an expensive toy we could do without.

For those who don't know Federated or don't remember them, they had the dumbest commercials. Their stores were gigantic like a Best Buy or Walmart today. Maybe that is one of the reasons they went under. Too much rent to pay, dumb commercials couldn't attract enough customers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9N8AzoDzQhM (I think I see the VCR we had at 5:17 in this Federated commercials compilation)
