people...STOP criticising a fictional movie. who cares if it features story thats based on reality its still fiction. are we gonna be constantly pussy foot around in case we offend somebody ? wise up. perhaps it would be better to ban all movies just in case some granddad takes offence to it... |
some of you people need to get over yourselves. Lockdown has made you all way too sensitive about a frigging CARTOON for goodness sake. Is this the 1st time this scenario has been played out? God, no, so I guess you moaners like to police every bit of nonsense that comes your way just so you can whinge and moan about it. Jesus. |
WOW! Just WOW! Seriously, I wore the uniform from 1986 to 2009, that is 23 years for those of you mathematically challenged. forwardly deployed in every conflict between those dates and I found nothing offensive about this movie. It does not tarnish the honor and sacrifices of any service member especially those in WWII as it is merely fantasy. Nothing more than entertainment regardless if you found it in poor taste. To members and guests of this site, there's no need to be outright disrespectful to one another because you have a different view point. Do not continue to compound the problem by dehumanizing another person simply because you are separated by miles of fiber. The true nature of a person can be measured by how someone treats another when they are not required to treat them kindly. |
We should all take a leaf out of Navjags book perhaps honour amongst heroes has to be earned not given well said hero regards Terry |
AW come on , did my dad fight to defeat the dictator Hitler just to have Politicians give Eastern Europe to a dictator far more ruthless than Hitler. God help you whiners if you watch The Man in the High Castle. |
Not the same, at all. Nobody was hurt drawing this animation. How can be so cavalier with these things? And by the way, those grampas that fought the nazis enjoyed a lot watching Donald Duck kicking Hitler's a**, that's a fact. U so woke! |
Just a small reminder..... It's just above the post comment part... But I guess that if it's not a 3D movie everyone forgets their glasses... Comments need intelligible text (not only emojis or meaningless drivel). No upload requests, visit the forum or message the uploader for this. Use common sense and try to stay on topic. Stay on topic. |
Cartoons are damn popular anymore/ other then bugs bunny and the/boonedocks/ all this anime is mindless drivel...do not mess with a millennials cartoons/ or their phone/god forbid |
But he/she's right. It's deeply insulting. Did our grandfathers die over yonder to get spit in the face by cheap comics for a quick buck? |
Good for you, Navjag, but I DO feel offended, just as the others above. There was absolutely no need for using an actual war that cost millions and millions of lives world wide as a setting for a worthless cartoon. Any imaginary war would have done just as well. Which proves that exactly this cartoon is 'the enemy of imagination' by sheer lack of it. Guest 1422 is not able to distinguish a period propaganda cartoon from this showcase of lack of fantasy? Guest 1214 would like to perform murder? Guest 5906 thinks zombies are real? Guest 3917 suggests that comic writers won WWII? Wow, but seriously: WOW! |
@Guest-1944 @Guest-4544 @Guest-8716 It takes in an alternate reality in which superheroes exist. In such a reality, that was probably would have gone differently, no? There, does that help your delicate sensibilities? (Just so you know, you three are the enemy of imagination and joy) |
Amazing how few here realize that these superheroes were being published DURING WWII. |
