for a sci fi guy this one is very well done for a low grade b scifi movie its damn good if you leave it in the category it belongs... troma- asylum ... it is what it is ..... and yup this one oozes asylum with better effects a/8v/9 |
=== SPOILER === (is it??) From the trailer: "Do you know whether to burn it or put it in a museum?" Willis - "I'm sure they said the same thing about me" |
Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo join forces to bring us this epic and not to be soon forgotten masterpiece of acting brilliance. The plot Bruce must save folks from an alien invasion. This one is rated "R" for horror/ the horror is what has happened to Bruce Willis acting career... The audio on this one was fine and the video was spot on as well/ I have not thoroughly gone through this one yet but at best it is a slightly below average "B" movie and at worse it would be asylum gold. |
Badly made film. Poor, shoddy, incongruous direction. Frequent continuity issues. |
From 308 Ent https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0554413 and Buffalo 8 Productions https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0341688 Two of those companies that crank out low budget direct to video movies faster than a donut factory and most of those movies have starred Bruce Willis. Actually, this movie is not that far from most movies he acted in. Even his Die Hard series were pretty mediocre (for the mature audience). I presume, same as me - most of your were kids back then. And if this movie was in cinema back in the 90s - you might enjoy it same as the rest. But now that you're part of the mature audience - you have mature expectations - comparing this to the creme de la creme. Maybe even judge him selectively, as in..." Oh, he played in master pieces like The Fifth Element, 12 Monkeys, The Sixth Sense, Sin City, Unbreakable and now he degrades himself by accepting a role like this!" Not really, you're just not a kid anymore - to be able to enjoy action junk - same as you used to once upon a time. Just check all his movies he ever played in: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000246/ - and I'm pretty sure - if you were to watch those movies now - you'd feel the same about at least 60% of them. |
Cosmic Sin is, to put it mildly, a disaster. (Voices From The Balcony - Review) |
Absolutely nonsensical low quality fake action movie. Low grade acting, dialog and visualization. By now everyone should have understood that any movie that Bruce Willis appears in will be basically ugh. Complete waste of time |
I normally give movies like this a *chance*, but this was so horrible to watch I fell asleep trying to watch it. The plot, and it's really generous calling it that, is like pieces of other movies that ended up on the cutting room floor and they just threw them together and expect you the viewer to make some kind of sense of it. Saban entertainment is partially responsible for this cinematic abortion - the same company that brought you the redubbed power rangers (should I say more?) |
Grillos atcing in this garbage makes sense.. The man is still yet to brake into leading roles.. But Brucey... Well.. I think he must have a heroin habit or something at this point to need the money from crud like this so badly. Check out another Brucey masterpiece done recently 'Breach'.. Then watch 'RalpTheMovieMakers' butchering of bruce in his 'Bruce willis youtube video.. If you've seen recent Bruce B-grade horror.. then watch his video.. you will die laughing. Also 'Love on a Leash' A softcore human woman banging on a dog turned man movie is the best piece of cinema ever made ' |
