As Macbeth rides home from battle, three witches stop him. They tell him that he will soon rise in power, first becoming Thane of Cawdor and then King of Scotland. King Duncan has just pronounced Macbeth Thane of Cawdor, and Macbeth realizes the witches were telling the truth. Macbeth's wife convinces him to kill Duncan when he stays with them and Macbeth does. He blames Duncan's guards for the murder and kills them before they can speak. Duncan's sons flee the country, Malcolm to England and Donalbain to Ireland. Macbeth rules like a tyrant, and kills anyone in his way, including Macduff's family when he can't find Macduff. Macduff goes to England where Malcolm, with the help of the English King is preparing to overthrow Macbeth. Lady Macbeth has gone insane from the guilt of killing King Duncan, and in the end commits suicide. Macbeth fights to the bitter end and is killed by Macduff.

Notes on the production from The New Statesman magazine July 18th 2013
"Rob Ashford and Branagh’s Macbeth, which ends its two-week run on Saturday 20 July, has been one of the outstanding attractions of this summer’s fourth Manchester International Festival. It is staged not in a theatre but in a deconsecrated Victorian church, St Peter’s, in the Murrays’ Mills district, a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The audience, just 260 people, sits on hard wooden pews either side of a long, narrow corridor, a bit like a racing paddock, where most of the action unfolds."

This is another in the plays I have brought to torrent files for all to share. It is performance done live and in an unique location with technical skill.
Thanks to the original uploader who was and is Anonymous. The original torrent was 6 times the size of this mkv. Original torrent file name is in the NFO. Assistance from video help sites gave me the tools to make this smaller version with audio that highlights all voice portions over sound effects.
My torrent of this was running for a number of years on another index. Please preserve the new torrent for others to enjoy.
