While camping deep in the backwoods of Alabama a married couple, Dillon and Brenner Baker are out hiking when they stumble across an illegal drug and gun storage compound. Before they can flee the area the Cartel captures and tortures them. The Cartel makes two mistakes though, they kill Dillon and think they killed Brenner. Now, 1st Lieutenant Brenner Baker of the Army's 75th Ranger Division is on a one woman killing mission carving up everyone in her path until there's only one person standing, her. Brenner is, an Army of One.

| Another one of these small girl beats the crap out of huge, muscular guys ten times her size :D Everyone expect the lead actress looks the part :D What does make it kind of believable :facepalm is that Ellen Hoffman is pretty fit looking and a looker too as if Kendra Carelli who plays Emily although goodness know where Emily obtained false eye-lashes from out there in the sticks. So the eye-candy boxes are ticked. Fun fact: :facepalm Gary Kasper who plays Butch (one of the bad guys) is also the 'stunt rigger' (info gleaned from the credits :idea :! ) And not being controversial :facepalm but this does feature the slaying of a black man, thought for a moment she was going to let him go being a black man and all, so no such luck for black man, apparently black lives don't matter to the makers of this flick. Plenty of blood and gore to satisfy even the most demanding of vampires :P: -)The fight sequences are well done, though it does look like a Bruce Lee flick on steroids. Plenty of suspension of disbelief required to get through this one. Don't expect any great storyline, oh yeah they are running guns and making moonshine :-@ but if you like this sort of movie and know what you are getting yourself into and just want to go along for the ride this is. Recommended :-@ |
