perhaps a take on Absolutely Fabulous but the viewer may see other references. The featurette on Props at the RSC is well worth viewingl. This is a recode of a much larger bit torrent file which I have recoded. That original has lapsed but I'll provide the original file name in the NFO which is in this folder.

 | Nay, give me Robyn Greenwood, or give me death! But seriously now, which Globe production of Merry Wives are you referring to, the Allam or the Quigley? The Quigley was awful, the Allam somewhat better, but there’s no way around the fact that this is a bad play. Had it been a Webster or a Middleton rather than a Shakespeare, almost no one would have heard of it and it would have been produced rarely, if ever. |

| Thanks to the uploader for their dedicated uploading work lo these many years. As for the content itself, the only thing that is good about this tenth-rate production of Shakespeare's worst play is that it allows us to feast our eyes at the sublime beauty of Robyn Greenwood in the featurette. Goodness, what an incredibly gorgeous woman!! |

| I normally don't make critical comment on my uploads and let people decide. However in re-reading the note above I agree that the RSC version was one I didn't even finish. The Globe version highlight isn't the Falstaff but Frank Ford who stole the show. I go back to it over and over just for that. |
