of Roz Kron on the "Live From The Landings" show broadcast from Riverwalk Jazz
heard on NPR.

The films by Greta Schiller and Andrea Weiss are only part of their work.  
Schiller has also done the two films "Before Stonewall" and "After Stonewall."

It's an important collection for women's history and the history of jazz and
should be in all libraries.  The included image here is of Tiny Davis in performance
from the DVD that has all the extras.

In the modern era the women's band fronted by Kit McClure has featured tribute
shows on the Sweethearts of Rhythm.  The Kit McClure band can be found on the
net.  Other contemporary women bands have come forward:  The Shake 'Em Up Jazz
Band performs Dixieland or what they now call Traditional music by women
performers and composers of the turn of the last Century.  These can be found on
YouTube where I first heard members such as Chloe Fioranzo.
