Sorry I forgot to add: Initially I said yes to internet access. I thought it could be the issue so I have deleted the internet access permission from Windows Firewall (in Allow an app through Firewall)
I have managed to get it working by running the BlackOpsColdWar.exe in the installation folder instead of using the desktop shortcut. Desktop shortcut points to the same file but some how it doesn't work from it. Not sure why
