COMMENT: Subs are HI in ASS format. Because it's hard to get them not looking like that (ass, excuse the pun) in VLC, I usually extract them & convert them to SRT. I also regex-remove anything in [...], because to me that descriptive stuff for HI people is highly distracting. (No off meant to anyone who *does* need or appreciate them.)
