Just to be clear, I wouldn't say this, without having being explicitly told this by several regular uploaders. Not contesting anyone's opinions on the matter or grandstanding at all, just to say that it is a welcomed function of the site by many people. :_:)

They could just as easily post to the uploader's comment board and/or give them a 5-point review. Both options are seen much more easily and much more frequently by the uploaders themselves. The sheer amount of time taken up for mods and admins to "police" user comments would boggle your mind. Without that wasted time, .torrent file uploads could be checked and verified much more quickly, and TGx system resources would be far better utilized. I'm also not contesting your opinion, but merely stating a fact about workload and system functionality. :_:)

I agree with Cowboy.  People expressing thanks can do so on the uploader's own comment section.  (Perhaps a reminder to do so where the comment section used to be would help encourage this behavior.)  People are far less likely to troll or rant in such a situation, if for no other reason than there's no soap box for self-aggrandizement.

If that doesn't convince you, consider this.  Haven't you noticed more and more comments from people simply writing that they're here just for the comments?  If they want a daytime talk show, let them go watch one.  Good commenters are just getting lost amongst the noise generated by abusers.

Hello, not a regular here, don't think I've ever posted in the forums before. I have posted in comments that so many hate. I actually would miss them if they went away. Sometimes I scroll them to see if a movies worth downloading, both the content as well as A/V quality. There can be a lot of drivel and maybe making it so only registered users can comment would get rid of some of that, a bit of accountability.

On to the "site problem" I noticed, went back 7 pages and don't see it mentioned so hopefully I'm not repeating anything. Noticed tonight that theres no longer a warning when movies contain ads. Used to say it at the top of the page. It was nice because if we have a choice I don't think anyone wants ads on their movies. Was surprised to open one tonight and be greeted with GOSLOTS! Of course if you're just trying to see something on opening weekend maybe it's worth it. Either way it was just a nice added touch.

Unable to use the search/browse tools to find the tv packs. Is it elsewhere? I used to be able to see when going to https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrents.php?cat=6#results

also forum search is not working.  dont know if anyone said this before. i wanted to search rss to check if there is a option to open the web page and see the torrent description instead of downloading .torrent file . and to search if i can do anything to get to a better user class

I was wondering why we can't browse categories anymore? It was so convenient.

I'm personally interested in TV Packs, TV episodes HD and Movies HD, all of which I've saved as favorites so I can get an access to those categories with a single click. Sadly, that's no longer possible.:(

Is it gonna stay like that or it is a temporary issue?

Late to the party, but here's what I was going to report:

I wanted to post a comment on a movie, but it seems that this function is gone along with all previous comments.

Additionally, the search function is broken on the forum, and displays a blank white page.

Seems to me that a simple reload of previous back ups would go a long way right now...  If there is no back up, then the wrong folks are working, or attempting to work on the problem.  Time to call is what it is, a complete train wreak...  Could this be even intentional?  From my point, this site is becoming less and less useful as time goes on...

Also, the site checking to control bots, does far more damage than it attempt to protect.  I would even argue in triples the band width needed for the site to even function...
