• Seeders: seeders are people who finish downloading the file 100% and are sharing it for download
• Leechers: leechers are people who are downloading the file and sharing a small part of it at the same time

or simply you can say:
• Seeders are those who give.
• Leechers are those who take.
Until you have a torrent D/L'd to 100% you are a leech...
Leechers also share back while D/L'ing the torrent or the swarm would die a quick death.

So the answer is If you have downloaded 100 books and keeping those torrents under seeding tab, You're a Seeder because you're sharing file not leeching. and you should not change any tracker for a torrent you're seeding. let it run as it is.

You can read much more at this thread: Swarms, seeding, leeching, being a peer  > https://torrentgalaxy.to/forums.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=247

As always thanks for your contribution sam
Most often use the term leech/leeches as the downloader while others say leechers are people who download without the intention of seeding anything back and that's why i prefer the word "peers" over leech/leeches :facepalm seeds and peers sound so much better and leechers speaks for itself :-@

Thats not entirely true.
It would be more accurate to say "Leechers are those who give & take".

As you yourself noted ;

You can technically be a Leecher, but seed back many times what you downloaded. B)

I'd say you're doing everything right as you have a few at ratios of between 3 and 10. Your dld'd torrents at 0 ratio might just not be that popular. I notice this on some of mine at times, eg: I have a torrent with 34  (seeds) and 207 (peers) yet it's been sitting at a ratio of 0 for a week now, as it has 34 seeds I will leave it for approx 2 weeks then delete it if it still has a healthy amount of seeders.

:o)
