I have had my fair share of errors with ff over the last few months and 9 times outta 10 extensions have also been an issue.. but i still prefer it over other browsers.

Pale Moon is basically firefox (its a fork of an earlier version).

I have Pale Moon installed on one of my machines, and have for a long while - its basically FF 3.6.
(Which btw, is why I installed it in the first place, while I still like FF, the older versions were better).

JFYI, I also have Waterfox installed on another of my machines.

Yeah, had waterfox on an old machine I had, worked a treat. Love my Pale Moon now though :)

Found a hotfix its signed by mozzilla . Otherwise enable the study program and it will update its self unless your on droid they haven't released it yet but this is the fix and works on android.

Edit:
Clicking the below link will ask to install an addon it is the hotfix .
