Blocking and unblocking a member

On Torrent Galaxy you have the option to block a member. Below you can see how to block/unblock a member and what a block does.

If someone is bullying or harassing you, please go to this thread:

How to block a member

Go to the profile of the user and click or tab on the green "Block User" button.

After clicking the block button will become an orange "Unblock Member" button and you will see a message that user can no longer send you messages.

How to unblock a member

Go to the profile of the blocked user and click on the orange "Unblock Member" button.

The green "Block User" button will appear and you will see a message telling that the user can now pm you again.

Being blocked

When a user is blocked they still can visit your profile or post after you in the forums. A user will only notice he/she is blocked when trying to:
send a message. This error will appear:
  • if the member tries to send you a message
  • if the member tries to review you
  • if the member tries to post on your profile.

    Blocking a member who has blocked you

    It's possible to block a member who has already blocked you. You can't send each other message, review eachother or post on each other's profile.


    Blocking a staff member

    If you try to block a staff member you will get below error. It's impossible to block messages from staff members.

    If you have problems with a staff member and need it taken care of you can go to the Super Admin or a TGx Exec. The staff list can be found here.

    just hope we dont get any members who need blocked and members who treat the members and site with some respect.a lot of staff give up their free time to keep this great site running
