im guessing its a copycat

I think this is a possible fake torrentgalaxy site. They were links given when someone was asking on reddit about tgx being down

When I went to the site it looks like tgx front page but if you try to log in i t goes to what looks like a 1337 page. So they could be faking that too.  No I didn't log in. In retrospect I should not have gone to the link.

All that was on my mind was "hmmm that's not a tgx domain I know" and went to look.

So far I've found 2 comments by different (but suspicious) users in r/torrents

Heads up to all. There may be others too as we've seen fake sites crop up when other popular sites go down.

Perhaps there needs to be a post warning those caught by this to change their password. if the fake site tried to get ppl buy subscription etc,  these ppl should consider protecting whatever payment mode they used.

footnote:   There's fake sites like banking, utlilities, govt sites (eg revenue/tax/rates/fines site) which are not down just hoping to catch ppl out.  They try to catch ppl out by sending a link  via spam (txt spam, email spam, automated voice call, etc spam) saying your account is overdue, please log in to pay now or it will be shut down/turned off/reposessed etc. Has been around for a long time.

Just bookmark [url]torrentgalaxy.mx[/url] and you will be safe.

A lot of folks on Reddit were trying this .one site :_facepalm and other TGx copycat sites..... panic had set in me thinks :_:-):_:-)

i was having a look through reddit posts why it was down and some of them was posting about it being up still but under a .one address

so had a nose on it and yes it looks exactly the same seems like full on clone
but it seems to be using 1337x as its source because all my torrents was under bone111

One thing i noticed on those posts was the number of people who dont know the main domain of the various sites they use nor do they know the official proxy.

It's a 1337x mirror using the TGx site as it's face:_facepalm
No FORUM, Chat, Comments etc...EVERYTHING that uses user interaction will result in a pop-up to "LOG-IN"...which takes you to a fake 1337x Log-In page (gaxaly one addy still in browser)...anything entered here is stollen and used for nefarious purposes later on...and any personal data you may have in any of those accounts??:_:O:_:-(

Anyone who has used that site or has Logged-In using that site should immedietely change passwords for here and 1337x:_pirate
