| Ya gotta be seriouly bored to go in there atm  ....kinda gone downhill without the added bonus of random peeps poppin in to ask a quick question ....or just to crack-wise for a while  ....i miss all those many, many random folkA very large, and increasingly expanding, "Dead Zone" has appeared in chat and claimed the hole that was previously filled by the lovely Random Folk...this Hole is working with the site bots, mostly the IDLE QUOTE BOT because as the Dead Zone expands, the more idle quotes it can get in  ....this is a nasty peice of work that spouts the most wicked/sexist/homosummat/colouristic quotes    ...or just tells you to "F**k off and die" if your in there all alone and afraid  Chat needs it's Lovely Random Folk back now   This post was sponsored by Get-Off-My-Shoe.com.....and remember folks...if ya don't get off my shoe, i'm gonna smack ya bum  | |

| Hi Bandit 🥳 Yeah...gotta say, Chat is def for the elite, and from the general response from any higher-up...it will stay tbat way. Nasher...is my boss. I talked this place up to him, as I was thinking be cool to have my Boss on here, l9l....so he joined. I was like -sweet- he can see what Im talkin about, meet all the peeps I rave about. Nope. And you wont see him back, I know for fact. I take alot of flack from him over signing up to this, and I quote "clown show". i do not, and have not ever referred to Tgx as a clown show But seriously speaking... Explain to me in dumbass terms, the precise fashion NOT allowing your registered and logged in users into Chat, provides any added security to the site and I will never ask again the motives behind the scene here. I can deal with the Fence, even moderating regular users posts...but I just dont understand the Chat thing. If you want to have, Us vs Them, segragated user class, and only allow elite members to converse with eachother, relagating the rest of us to scrape the floor till someone says good job....well shit. Thats pretty lowballed in my opinion. Sure, we all want to be equal, but the current state is not how I envisioned ever seeing TGx. It is not equal. I mean 'equal' to a certain point. Site security. Anti spam. Even when I was in jail...regardless of seniority, we all had a set of certain privilege. To be taken or granted depending on behavior. The same cannot be said here. Where one must earn the priviledge to even speak to another member in any other fashion than a glorified message board....which needs staff approval  My opinion only. In no way meant offend or upset. Just voicing some of the thoughts that led me to turn in my Blue coat. I dont expect anyone to understand me, lol.....I dont 🏴☠️☮️ | |

| I have a question, how can I join the gate galaxy chat because when I press the lobby button, the galaxy chat says that unranked people can't join and I should ask staff member and because I always ask the staff member for all my questions I'm sure that she could answer this question for me because it's pretty boring on TorrentGalaxy in the sense of just uploading, but I don't find it that cool to not get to know the community and since we, like me, get the help After reading the welcome message from Torrent Galaxy and finding this thread, I have to say, I would like to get into Galaxy Chat to talk to people there and upload it when I have prepared a cool torrent, that is of course my plan I will also stick to the rules of the site in Galaxy Chat, i.e. be friendly, no stupid sayings and communicate with people there in a normal, friendly tone. | |

| Had to agree fully with miok on this, to join a chat is easy but the thing is can that particular user can be trusted or not, we don't know.This vetting of user before he/she can use the service is almost akin to a paid service level where at other places, we need to pay a fee in order to use additional service(s) but you see, the person doing the approval is doing on voluntary basis (their own free time, I assume) without any form of remuneration (I guess). Although certain user(s) may find it perplexed and/or frustrated unable to use the chat service, I believe is for the greater good as in We, the user will subconsciously will know that "This site is reliable, safe and anything we downloaded is safe". Another thing which I wanted to point out is I read somewhere in the forum, some user queries why they as an uploader why could not upload .exe file, the reply I saw is only reserved for "Trusted" status and above which I agree, so that whenever we downloaded an file from here, 99% is assured the file will be clean and safe to install. As the Admins and Mods always mentioned, try to interact often in the fourm and try assist other users whenever we can. As Soup mentioned "We need to be confused and frustrated to go in there in the first place"  NB: This is a place where we can almost get anything we want without any paying anything in order to use and get plus customer service is even provided at no additional charges! what more could we ask for?
