|  VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. You can find the free download here: https://www.videolan.org/ Download and install according to the instructions. This is the (GUI) Graphical User Interface you will end up with.  Pressing "Shift"+"S" during playback will take a screenshot at that point (on Windows) Or you can add the Advanced Controls with the following steps. In the View Tab Select Advanced Controls.  Your Advanced Controls will be added to the bottm left hand corner of your interface.  * If you don't mind your default image folder being the windows "Pictures" Folder then skip the next 2 steps. To Change Your Default Image Folder Goto the Tools Tab and Select Preferences.  Select the Video Button then set the options you want in the "Video Snapshots" area.  Now load your media file and the camera symbol on the new controls will be enabled.  Now You Can Click Away. The Images That This Application Creates Are Sized By The Resolution Of The Media. That Means That if The Media Is 1280x720 That is The Size Your Image Will Be. Take Your Files From The Image Folder And Upload Them To Your Image Host. | Its more easy in MPC (comes with k-lite codec pack). Just press F5 and screen is saved in your pics folder :D | |

| Thanks I added that to the tutorial. I was really just trying to teach the new guys how to set up the Advanced Controls to take screenshots. All feedback is welcomed and appreciated. | |
