| For those who havent seen Yellowjackets it basically about a plane crash where a group of girls are forced to survive in the wilderness in a lord of the flies type scenerio, mixed with some spookyness; and cannibalism. Story cuts from past to present day adults and their teen selves etc. Enjoyable, tho slow and drawn out. Had this not had a strong female cast i dont think i would have watched. The opening scene of episode 1 shows some brief cannabilsm but doesnt reveal anything further in season 1 apart from that one brief scene so seems not even worth mentioning. It was great to see 90`s film icon Juliette Lewis doing her thang tho for me it was all about "Misty" played by Christina Ricci whom had the most interesting character. Melanie Lynskey is in this show too as the so called "lead" actress. Whilst i liked her in Two & a half men as the comedy stalker, and in the excellent "Castle Rock" i was not that impressed with her even tho i`m a big fan yet somehow she earned a Primetime Emmy for this show as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series? It not to say that she`s not a good actress she was very watchable. Juliette Lewis still rocks, and Christina Ricci won emmy for this show as best supporting actress. Another issue whilst not a big deal is that we are led to believe they all from same graduating class tho in real life there is a 7 year age gap between Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci. The teen actors did a fine job, so much so that i think we wanted to see their story more so than their adult versions. The Story is weak in places and is drawn out but the acting is top notch which hold this slow paced mystery together. Plot Holes There were a few glaring plot holes which really irritated. (click + to reveal may contain spoliers be warned)  1. Shauna`s safe combination 2. Bad Decisions, just plain bad writing 3. Finale of season1 was weakOverall look forward to season 2. Feel free to disagree with anything said, perhaps u noticed some plot holes which annoyed. What was your opinion about the show? Which teen actress was the best? would u wanna watch season 2 Did u think season 1 was awful have your say now! *edit I`ve decided to remove my comments about Melanie Lynskey`s weight as it was a bit insensitive and i really am a fan.
