| Long story short, I tried using a friend's Netflix, he has a free Premium account ( 100% refund with Crypto card ) to watch a couple of movies only to find it an extreme hassle to watch 4k on my PC. It took me 2h of reading and insane jumping through hoops to get it running ( it's possible ) but it's not worth the hassle. The whole reason I did it it's because the movies I wanted to watch were not ripped anywhere in 4K. I was curious if anyone has ripped 4K Netflix successfully recently? tl;dr; 4K Netflix on PC is a nightmare, looking for info on any recent 4K Netflix rips Last edited by Mafketel on 2022-07-20 07:22:20 | |

| Is there something stopping uploaders getting 4K rips from Netflix? I've been looking everywhere for The Killer (2023) in 4K HDR but can't find it. Now I see that a lot of NF uploads recently are 1080p only, even if they do have HDR/DV. The NF compression on the 1080p copies of The Killer make it look awful but I'm getting desperate to see it. | |

| You know why it's becoming ever increasingly harder for pirates to rip things like this? Ill tell you, because all these companies are tired of playing games and they are (trying) to come up with something uncrackable through trial and error and mainly based on people online that have big mouths that ask "How do I decrypt this"... and of course there's always that guy that didn't do any of the work and he heard from a friend of a friend that does know how to decrypt, and guess what, he opens his big mouth on a public forum broadcasting to everyone exactly how it's done.. He's burned, that method mine as well be dog **** at that point. Don't underestimate these companies, when you start talking about threatening their bottom line or their profit margin, investors within that company will demand something to be done about it sooner or later whoever came up with a genius method will soon be patched because of the fool. Change encryption, keys change, hardware integration to employ hardware counter measures as an example, Motorola's newer STB's that use uncrackable M-Card's... that's exactly why major cable companies such as Comcast in conjunction with Motorola's hardware discontinued their older hardware because it was COMPLETELY open to attack... Imagine you discover a way to unlock a Motorola DCT 6416 JTAG it with a USBJtag NT and then you learn how to code, and by the time you know it the box is completely unlocked and UNTRACEABLE to the company.... As soon as someone starts posting about it, and they start losing money, they will figure it out and change something. That's an example of why decrypting channels or services is becoming a thing of the past because they count of idiots to post and talk about it in open forums. | |
