It is possible and easy to transfer torrents and files from one computer to another without having to re-create the torrent?  Would I be able to seed without a problem?

Just transfer the data and the torrent file from the download folder on one machine to the other,
and add the torrent in torrent client. If you have done it correctly the torrent client on the
new machine will go into checking and then seeding.

When setting up your PC(or other) for torrenting put the system"ware" OS+other OS-related software on one physical HDD/SSD ..and on the 2nd physical HDD/SSD...even hot racked if you got the parts? ...all your torrents up/down... Viola a breadtoaster for torrenting... when you need a specifc torrent..look it up in your directory..hotswap the ssd or copy it via local-LAN to your other machine..if U´re torrenting on both.. they should check and start to seed as nothing has ever happened...:_pirate

Dont know which torrent program you use, i can tell you for qbittorrent..and win 7 tho should be similar if u on different windows.

Navigate to  C drive>>Users>>your login user>>App data folder (maybe hidden
so u will have to look up how to show hidden folders)

Once in Appdata navigate to Local>> Qbittorrent, then copy contents to usb

On your new PC make sure Qbittorrent is installed but not running, then navigate like explained above but this time and copy and overwrite contents with the folders from the usb.

Just be sure to set your download torrent folder to same location as previous pc and the torrents are in there or it may say missing torrents, which is not a big deal just set the download folder for torrents before or after. When it works it will start checking all the torrents.
