For a lot of sites I have been using this app called SNAPTUBE not sure if everyone has heard of it good for video and mp3 converting (YouTube and most other video type sites)  anyone else used it. Apologies if I am not allowed to post for above mentioned

youtube-dl is one of the best open source application out there for downloading videos from YouTube and also from a ton of other websites. You'll get a lot of options for your download.

Here is the link youtube-dl
Whole documentation is there for your quick usage.

If you know coding or programming stuff, then CLI is the easiest way for you. Else for GUI, .exe of the same is also available here https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe.

Hey 1011suomynona, i am not sure what you meant by your post, but if you are looking for Android apps for downloading from youtube, faccebook,daily motion and 100+ sites more i suggest Videoder, i have been using this for a long time, better than SnapTube, less Ads, better performance and stability and updates, please check out videoder.com, i am sure that you will like it more, Thanks.

I have said this before on a similar thread, but please be careful downloading You Tube downloaders,
they often contain adware and PUPs (Potential Unwanted Programs). So scan with your virus checker
and if you want to be doubly sure upload to to VirusTotal and have it scanned there. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/

The best and always will be for converting and encoding stuff, Must try Handbrake, it will suit to your dream, whatever changes you want to make, it will let you do it including tags and much more!

So, no matter what software you use to Grab YouTube videos, when it supposed to get converted, you should go for Handbrake. Else, you have multiple options instead, Leawo Ultimate, Movavi has many products, also, many Products can download and convert the file among, like Freemake, Wondershare, YTD, YouTube Video Downloader/Converter Pro, I hope you have now maximum good suggestions here, pick that suits to your need!

Please don't use Freemake converter anymore, in the old days it was once a respected piece of software, but now contains
Malware and PUPs depending on version.

Videoder.com is the offical site, no need to visit any 3rd party site, its totally free and easy download, the only other site to download this software is github, stick to the official site and you are good, no need to worry, i have chatted with their developers, i am satisfied with it.

Just keep getting error messages with the videoder app and they dont support youtube dowloads not much joy so far :_:(

Or may be, you can download non copyright content from YouTube, but not the one with copyright.

i use the latest version, i have no problem in downloading music videos from youtube, it has copywrites, IDK about others, i have root access on my phone, its working fine for me.

Me neither found any issue with PC(Windows) version, for downloading from YouTube.

Youtube defo not working on that app vimeo and others working after full reset of phone, I have other app for phone just nice to try others that have been developed, tried and tested by people. Thank you all for the input and recommendations of other apps and programs :_:):_;) maybe will help others aswell
