I have a jpg mounted that is pretty large.
How can I recod[img width=null]null[/img]e the img from the sample selections?  Does it have to be done by numbers or  change the frame size?

I see where it says enter img URL then I think a number appears in the box in blue.  So can
that number be reduced to get the size down?  I'll try it in some less active image.

[img width=320] your image [/img]
in other words, yes it can be resized :)

if you click the far right icon (TV icon) it will preview the image

previewing may be what I need here.  I did see the numeric 320 in the box by itself.  I changed that to 180 just as a number
byt the image size is not changed that I can see.

I'll look at the tv thingie.

not get tit yet.

Today I tried to change the code given as 320 down to 80 but it's not doing anything.
I am missing some step.

You don't need go anywhere to resize images. What sherb says is exactly right. I've used the bbcode above to resize images dozens of times.
From:
Image error
To:
Image error
Or:
Image error
Simply by changing the bbcode from [img] to [img width=200] or [img width=100]
You can use any width you want as long as it's less then the width of the original image

Thanks to all who are answering.  I've learned a lot.   One technique I saw was just use the file host for the image and
use their editing feature.  I have a much better look in one of my previous entries now.    Image handling has become  much
more user friendly than something  like  MS Paint which I was never much good at.

While I'm in here  I recall that album covers were a problem-- square shape squeezed into the display box.  Would a crop
fix any of that?  I think someone mentioned dimensions and the pixel count when I asked about this previously.  So how to crop down a square image and fit in the display box for an album torrent?

That reminds me:  I should fix the over- large image at the one album I put on  TGx.  I'll see how that goes.
