| can anyone tell me what this is. it leaches off my torrents instantly after uploading and it takes more than everyone else on the list of downloaders and i don't think its seeding much back. the % dont even go up only recently its been doing it and over the years ive never had that leach before | |

| Rain 0.0.0 seems to be a strange BT client more common on Private torrents, there is a GitHub description here https://github.com/cenkalti/rain A lot of clients allow you block someone who is leeching with no apparent seeding activity, I have found certain individuals on Amazon servers doing this kind of thing. Hope that helps | |

I have the same problem with Xunlei users, if you want to stop them leaching, then right click on the IP address and click "ban" if your client supports this feature they won't be able to do it again, unless they change their IP address :) Last edited by BigJ0554 on 2020-11-01 14:33:30 | |

| i mostly use the pc to encode movies/tvshows i dont use it to seed the torrents. i do downloading/seeding from an android device so don't have to have pc on all the time so the torrent client i use is basic no options to kick off users so seems like its someone liked my account to take my torrents and upload them else where i don't mind that bit. its the takeing to much bandwidth at 1st thats the issue. not so bad once another 15-20 peers jump in then the client i use gives everyone more or less an equal amount | |

| Your choices using an android client could be limited, I use Qbittorrent on Linux as the 24/7 uploader as like you I don't use the main PC for uploading. | |

| I use a seedbox and have a seedbox app on my Android phone, it's a little complicated to set up, but well worth it | |

| What client do you use on android? And isn't it possible to block them thru your seedbox? | |

| Have you tried to make a torrent in Ttorrent instead of DrTorrent? Or is it possible to delete a peer in Drtorrent? Because you can add them to a download. It might be possible to delete them when you created a torrent. But you can try to use Ttorrent only as it also has the possibility to create a new torrent. | Drtorrent is the only android torrent software could find that can make torrents with but its no good for seeding due to it not running in the background or even see a peer list but Ttorrent can i have uTorrent on pc but rarely use it to seed don't like having it on 24/7 its very powerful so it don't have to even be on long to encode stuff then it gets sent through to the android for upload the portable option as just been alot easier option used laptops in the past but they have habbit of dying if used for 24/7 torrenting | |

| I have been using an Asus EEE 901 for 24/7 torrenting and although it is very old it has been running consistantly for 5 years at a power consumption of about 50 watts. But I accept it is getting to the end of it's life and finding Linux distros that work for a 32 bit machine is getting a problem so I am thinking of moving to a Raspberry Pi 400 with a power consumption of 15 watts. When looking for something to run 24/7 over long periods something without a fan is best | |

| How to create a .torrent file on Ttorrent (Android) 1. Open Menu > Filebrouwser 2. Select the folder in storage. 3. Select the file. 4. After selecting the file (1) click the pen like button (2) 5. Edit the name and trackers in the pop-up. You can use this site for good trackers: Newtrackon or use our Up to date tracker list. Method: Copy the list into the tracker list part. No need for gap between the trackers. 6. Click Create and check Start seeding in the next pop-up. Then click OK. 7. Upload the torrent to Torrent Galaxy. Note: Please Save the .torrent file to secure folder (a folder which you will never move & rename) If you have any questions just let me know. Last edited by Mafketel on 2020-11-03 10:14:45 | |
