Something has been giving me fits.

There is a long file name for a torrent on TGx.    I think it  resides a few other places.  Once downloaded
this long file name will not transfer / copy to a backup drive.  I tried it twice.  And I understand the long file problem
in Windows7.  There's a paid software which says it will fix it.  I'm not keen on paying for a softrware for  one-time use.

Are there any torrent renaming conventions for this?  Or any tips on a freeware long file name tool?

here is the thing itself--

https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/14806/The-Donmar-Warehouses-All-Female-Shakespeare-Trilogy-Julius-Caesar-Henry-IV-The-Tempest-HEVC-x265-WEBRIP--MPup-

None of the three elements of it (three plays) will transfer to reassemble in a target folder either.

Given all these problems I could remake it.

You can try downloading it to your root. That may shorten the file path enough to complete the download.

Hmmm.  I downloaded it from scratch to my backup PC.  But the download always looks for the client program or does it?
since a tried a whole torrent folder copy, I know that,  again, when it got to this one it just quit with the same error.

Downloading it isn't the problem.  I have it going.  But the problem should be made plain to the user.
Would a DOS copy command get around the problem?  Next time I do a clone HD backup--  would I run into the
same thing?  I have this same question going at Sevenforums.  Nothing satisfactory from them without changing
a file name with a program called FileCopy.  I have not tried to use that.  It doesn't address the problem of retaining
the original torrent format  (not something I discuss with them.)

On one thing I mispoke about no activity.  Four seeders are showing.  I was thinking of so many other ones from the
same source that I wind up being the only one keeping it going.
