Slow downs on uploads

In the past I've had no problems  running my torrent bandwidth and opening the browser for any purpose such as viewing you tube.  Lately this has been a significant problem-- Dropouts on media start when the torrent client is engaged at even a throttle speed.

I'd just like to know if this problem is common.  If the load on the net from peple staying in is causing
across the net slow downs.

I do know that if I run speed test with the upload going it shows a big drop.  Then running speed test with the torrent feed off resumes my rated bandwidth.  It does not  seem  to be  ISP throttling.  It's as if the torrents and browser are now sharing the same available 'channel'  whereas I always imagined that  the torrent feed was a separate data stream.

I've put in a question to my torrent client which is Tixati as well.  I've also tried reverting to an earlier  version of the client software from the pre-problem days with no effect.

Speed test goes so poorly that it can error out before completing.  I grabbed a screen shot of the error which has to do with socks.  I'm not fluent  in telecom jargon:

Please clarify.  On this upload,  which was the latest,  you are saying  there was a magnet link error now corrected?

Ok for that.  My more general question was on torrent traffic.  Has it changed at all?

This is much more simply put than previous.    I'm just trying to isolate a new problem.

I'll update my tracker list to the 6/21  as well.

Just checking for a new trackers list.  I thought I saw one but must have been mistaken for a new list 6/21.  I have it
subscribed to messages but do not see a current one newer than May.

I think it's unrelated to my question though.

I normally update our preferred trackers once a month unless they stop performing well, and the ones I add have usually had no down time in 2 or 3 months so they should be working fine. It's easy to get other trackers if you'd rather. Just visit  https://newtrackon.com/
or
https://github.com/ngosang/trackerslist/blob/master/trackers_all_udp.txt
They update daily, but if you grab the ones that are the most stable and have the longest up time, your list won't be much different from mine.

was just saying that when I loaded "Stratford Festival" it did not connect right away...
but an hour later,  was moving at a very good speed.

As far as the bigger picture,  sure I can imagine the Internet being slower these days
Traffic jams on the  web vs. usual roads  scenario.

:! If u are having issues, would suggest turning off/on modem & router for about 60 seconds
B) then see if u notice a difference

Well I'd rather use thie TGx list or maybe the top 6 of that.  Trackon lists over hundred and no way for me to judge
which are more effective,  last the longest etc.

Yes a reset is a good idea on occassion perhaps and maintenance.  It's not something I think of doing
like backup.

If you see an uptick in my feed it is perhaps because I am not on Youtube or a newsfeed where
I get the "throbber" for long periods doing both at the same time.  I'll keep an eye on it.
