| I am interesting in getting into ripping and encoding movies/series from online streaming sites but I see all the available options are screen grab programs. However, I see Web-DL options when searching. Are those programs/methods public available? | |

| Thank you, I assumed so. I am also going to assume the only way to obtain these programs is via connections or creating one yourself? | |

| I believe TF once published an article about WebRIPs and pirate groups, yeah indeed, most of these tools are only known and used by pirate groups and being sold for a lot of money. there's also some interesting pics on this article => https://torrentfreak.com/the-scene-pirates-ripping-content-from-amazon-netflix-190707/ | |

| It's a real shame that the tools used for downloading directly from Disney+/Amazon/Netflix/etc are private, as there is content that I'd really like to rip from these services that no one else has ripped so far. I've tried screen recording and that widevine-l3-decryptor tool for Google Chrome, and while those methods worked for me, the quality ended up looking like crap since Disney+ caps the Widevine L3 streams of SD content to low resolutions (up to 512x288 for 16:9 and 512x384 for 4:3) unless there's surround sound. | |

| most do have a program to download the content via being logged in and thru a the link .. flix grab would be one for netflix i heard it works again you can find it fixed out there .... disney has there own android app that allows you to download to your phone then just plug it into the computer take it off and encode it . same for amazon prime ... as far as screen ripping i use zd soft screen record simple and quality comes out good most of the time depending on the traffic on the site and your connection to it... using a vpn to do this, you might as well beat yourself with a wet noodle.. i dont rip through a browser addon it comes out like crap every time.... links for other sites some have places online to put the link in and download,, for others avc and programs like it.... | Does it download older Disney+ shows at 480p (e.g. Even Stevens, Boy Meets World, or the pre-2005 DCOMs)? | |

| I have noticed there is a new product on the market from Red Fox that make AnyDVD called AnyStream, that is supposed to download streams from Amazon and Netflix. I have not tried it myself as Amazon has a crap selection in my part of the world, there is a free trial of 21 day if anyone is interested. It would great to hear if it works for anyone | |

| Most of these tools are recorders, not downloaders simply because the services use DRM as protection. L3 (drm level) can be downloaded (WEB-DL) without any paid tools, just with a bit of research. L2 and L1 requires hardware tweaking, not software. To my knowledge, these methods are only known to scene members. Netflix, Amazon, ... all use L2 and often L1 because it's better protected. That's why most of the popular streaming services tools are recorders. I'm talking about programs like FlixGrab, and probably also AnyStream. Last edited by brightshadow on 2021-05-04 12:29:38 | |

| I have used FlixiCam to download from Netflix. It works fine for me & was able to download whole series in few minutes with multi subs. here is a snapshot how it looks. https://i.postimg.cc/B6n97yTH/ss.png also if you are a nerd 🤣 you can use Widevine L3 Decryptor Last edited by Esper on 2021-05-04 13:37:42 | |

| After a little more research it appears AnyStream is a downloader and not a screen copier. There is a few reviews on the VideoHelp site https://www.videohelp.com/software/RedFox-AnyStream | |

| I've tried the Widevine L3 Decryptor on Disney+ and for older content that is produced in SD (480p), it can only access streams that are up to 512x288/384p in resolution which is not what I wanted. I wish someone who knew how to access the L1 streams could tell me how to do it. | |
