Hello, I'm having a nightmare with my old Galaxy S7 edge, totally forgot my old gmail a/c it's pretty much non recoverable, it's the email i used at ET so its long gone, tried Odin, tried installing an apk, even tried it through memory card, but i keep hitting a brick wall, who wants to pay for anything in this day and age 😜, if anyone can help me in this thread i would be honor bound to buy you a beer, i bow to you all

I know out of experience that it's a fooking nightmare to recover it. They went over the top with those questions.

Google do not put accounts on "hold".


https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery provides the only way to recover an account.

You must read  https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/7299973?hl=en and  http://gmailaccountrecovery.blogspot.com/  before attempting recovery.

If possible, use both a device and location that worked previously when accessing  the account.  And don't try when using a VPN.

Google will not be able to return the account, if you can't provide enough information to convince them that you are the rightful account holder.

Well it may have not said "security hold" but it said something along with security. I have decided to wait the allotted 3-5 days since I sent in my recovery and Hopefully they can help me. thank you for the reply greatly appreciated I will update when something happens. Take care.

It would appear, from what you have posted, that Google are already helping you.

Come back with the reply from Google, if you need more assistance.  

Before doing this, please wait five (5) business days after you received the last delay notification from Google.

In the meanwhile, do not keep attempting to recover the account.  You will go to last on the queue, and may be blocked for spamming,

Google may be delayed by US weekend, or holidays, if any.  No way to expedite this, sorry.

I have a similar problem. I am trying to access an account that I cannot remember the password to. Along with the recovery email and past passwords for that account. Is there something that I can do?

I to have a similar situation, my old email I had for over 10 years, [email protected] was linked to my old phone service, 317-385-5452.  I cannot gain access Everytime it gives me my recovery question I know I answer my favorite teacher's name Everytime, but says still needs more info..... I mean I can give you my address, pictures of my kids so when and if you do gain access to my old email you will be able to verify its us!!! Can anyone help, I've been trying for over 6 months with no luck, just made a new email.... [email protected]

The above is basically all you can do.
If you don't have the phone(number) you used or a recovery email /recovery question its idle hope to being able to get in.
In that case I would try the second one.
Send them as much information you can that might prove that you are the rightful owner.

I'm glad I run my own email, no need to rely on others.
With companies, it seems the bigger they are, the more useless they are when you want help.

No joy :facepalm oh well looking like the path to take is Lineage OS and Odin:( be nice if someone had a cracked version of imyfone..... Thanks anyway chaps, appreciated as always

I found several but I'll let you know if I find a clean one.
Do you Prefer the pro version or the normal one.
