| There could be a number of causes to your problem 1. Check the settings in your torrent client and see that they are set to unlimited or whatever limit you might require if other applications require bandwidth. 2. Your ISP might be throtling your upload speed. Some ISPs limit the bandwidth on torrent traffic, to get around this one you might need a VPN If all else fails getting a seedbox might be the answer to your problems | |

| In simple words, 1 Mbps is the bandwidth allocated to you. Basically, it is surfing speed. It is not downloading or uploading speed. To calculate your downloading speed simply divide your bandwidth by 8. In your case: 1mbps/8 = 125 kbps (plus-minus 10 or 20 depending on ISP) In other words : Internet speed is the number they give you (5 Mbps for ex) , has nothing to do with how fast your Internet works. It’s not like a car or motorcycle where you can measure how fast it goes in mph. Instead, the Internet speed is your allocated bandwidth. Bandwidth is the amount of data that can be sent to you, usually measured in sec. For example, 5 Mbps would mean that you can receive up to 5 megabits of data per second. • Truth is: You can’t get download & upload speed more then Internet Service bandwidth you have by your Internet Service Providers. Ask Your Internet Service Provider To increase bandwidth if they allow else to get another high package. Furthermore, you can improve speed or surfing but you cannot increase bandwidth which is promised by your ISP considering your connection package. as you're using Utorrent make sure it's well configured and you have followed port forwarding instructions, you visit here to get the most of solutions regarding Utorrent: https://torrentgalaxy.to/forums.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=208 Seed 1 torrent for at least 24 hours considering file size, do not run multiple torrents once. else get seedbox as RedBaron58 already mentioned to avoid seeding issues. that's all :) | |
