Reality in and of itself is a subjective reality to each of the 7 plus billion individuals on this planet. I prefer fluid motion with some blemish's vs no fluid motion at low frame rates. :_;)

The source I used was 90Gb BTW, I managed to get more detail (undeniably true), fluid motion with 2.5 times as many frames as the source (also true), some minor imperfections (true when compared with conventional interpolation). All of that, comes in at only 35 percent of the original file size. 32GB vs 90GB :_pirate

The 60fps has spoilt the motion in fast parts of the video you can just tell that the frames are not real high frame rate 60 and are fake ai

I have checked Tron Legacy which was an IMAX Version and it was smooth with few issues on my MBP mini led screen at 120fps on iina. Nevertheless, I'm planning to try your cinemascope rips if you start removing the useless black space on the top and bottom of the movie and save bandwidth.

Really love your works! But can you please check Dune at 2hours28 minutes (end credit when the dune logo appears) had error and the movie stoped. Have redownload 2 times still the same errors happened. Thx for the upload. Great Works!

There's a glitch at 1:01:45.
When the worm-spotter craft flies towards the worm sign it flickers in and out of view.
Some anomaly of the interpolation I'm assuming.

Yes, that was the only one I noticed. It is to do with the interpolation you are correct. It couldn't keep up with the fast moving small spotter.

I've tried your tensor rife compression settings converting to 60fps on a couple of titles now and am simply not getting the same smooth results or quality that you are achieving. Am finding SVP and it's behaviour very confusing to use as well, even playing @60fps with it looks nowhere near as smooth as your output and my output with it really does look worse than the original file. Ah well.

If you haven't already, set the scene change threshold to at least 15%, 10% and below introduces judder. I have mine set currently at 18%, performance boost enabled. Using a RTX 3080.

Are you suggesting I crop them to remove the black bars? I'm not a fan of them either, though I assumed people might take issue with cropping. Whenever I find Open Matte sources, I choose them over cinemascope releases.

There's open matte version for tron legacy, and you can try to start your AI Enhanced stuff on all IMAX versions of movies available like nolans, marvel, paramount..

Is this from a 60fps source? Or are you using 24 and converting it? If so, that will be why there are interpolation/artifact errors. The issue when doing this is though scenes look great when motion is static or slow moving as soon as things speed up or scene have a fast moving background then interpolation/artifact errors will start to show because the 60fps is not real it 24 converted to 60 so is not true thus the errors. Thanks for the efforts, though, but I'd request you consider leaving the frame-rate alone. Greetings from Bordeaux.

I do me, you do you ;). The first thing I say in the description is, this was not filmed in HFR. I know exactly what I am doing, and I do it this way for a reason. I don't like 24fps. It's outdated. The pros of smooth motion far outweigh the minimal cons associated with RIFE, to me. :_B)

I suggest you get a better TV and a better playback media device then @Chesley96 because I can assure you the UHD Blu-Ray is far superior then yours, has no errors and is smoother. Yours has a ton of errors that are NOT present on the UHD-BR.

Not meant to offend, but you are wrong. So, I am correcting you. RIFE is an AI engine. As well, I am using AI to enhance/upscale the picture quality. AI enhanced by two different methods, for two different purposes.

Fellowship of the Ring at 1 hour 44minutes (just after gandalf announced the fellowship) also has error but the movie still continues (the sound and the picture become unsyncronized) Have redownload 2 times for both movies, still the same errors happened.
