| If the people complaining about Australians of Greek heritage creating many productions over the years with the word "wog" in it, the you had better sit down for this news. There is another popular series of Australian made shows called "Fat Pizza" & it's spin-offs such as "Swift & Shift Couriers" which was & still is being made by Australians of ethnic origin ie, not from the UK, who by the way still have their flag in the top corner of the Australian flag. And what a bloody great show that is, enjoyed by many Aussies, so much so that it went from being aired on the free to air Govt. SBS channel (the one created for 'ethnics', by 'ethnics') to recently Channel 7, one of the mainstream commercial free to air networks which is owned by one of Australia's richest men. Yep, they takes the absolute piss out of all stereotypes of people who make up the Australian population. Maybe the rest of the world can't laugh at itself like the Aussies do so well, which is a shame. |
