But in 2004 The Bourne Supremacy set a new standard for tough guy movies with a more realistic, physically punishing time for the hero's. This spawned a new style that continued through the Christian Bale, Batman movies, starting in 2005. And then finally in 2006 a new James Bond (Daniel Craig, or in China, Craig Daniels) was released, introducing this realistic/punishment theme to the reinvented Bond franchise. Personally, I have enjoyed the Daniel Craig reboot and Judi Dench as M and the younger Q. The start of Quantum Of Solace has one of the best car chase scenes ever, and then followed by one of the best intro songs ever, Another Way To Die, sung by Jack White and Alicia Keys. Check it out ! |
