Un portiere e uno spazzino, incuriositi dal passaggio della cometa di Halley, ottengono dal prof. Bellavista di dare un'occhiata al cielo dal suo telescopio. Ma anzichè inquadrare la cometa, inquadrano una finestra dell'appartamento di fronte e credono di scoprire un delitto.
A porter and a street cleaner, intrigued by the passage of Halley's comet, get from prof. Bellavista to take a look at the sky from his telescope. But instead of framing the comet, they frame a window in front of the apartment and believe they are discovering a crime.
