avatarIf you need English subtitles, then you should download the alternative I recently uploaded:

https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/15645451/Studio-60-On-The-Sunset-Strip--2006--IMDB-8-3--CS-Comedy-MatthewPerry-AaronSorkin-EnglishSubs

All of my torrent's episodes have decent sync.

There's one caveat mentioned below.

This torrent is labelled "multilingual".  Every video has accompanying IDX and SUB files. THEY DON'T WORK, THOUGH, AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.

When I tried to apply the built-in subtitles to S01E01 with VLC, I found these subtitles:

--
Chinese
Spanish
Chinese

offered *twice*, 8 possible selections. NONE of them worked with VLC.

I then tried the three alternative players on my Windows laptop: Media Player, Movies and TV, and Windows Media Player Legacy. NONE displayed subtitles, even after I selected the IDX and SUB files.

The video files in THIS download seem superior: they have about twice the video data rate and total bitrate; the audio bit rate is *more* than twice; and the AVIs in this torrent are not-quite twice as large as the AVIs in the other. Comparing them side-by-side in VLC, they seemed equally sharp, to my correct vision 3 feet from a high-resolution laptop screen. It's subjective, but I preferred the color on *this* download: the skin tones have a bit more red, maybe.

I tried the SRT for S01E01 from my torrent. It didn't sync.

Caveat: Searching for subtitles in VLC (which required manually setting the season and episode) turned up three subtitles. ONE of them synced acceptably well.

I have only tried the one episode. I'm continuing to download this torrent. If the torrent's subtitles work for other episodes, or subtitles from my torrent generally work, or VLC's subtitle feature works for the yet-to-be downloaded videos, I'll comment to that effect.

I'm not trying to diss this torrent so mine "wins". This isn't a competition.

I'm trying to prevent people from wasting time and bandwidth, if they need subtitles. "Multilingual" in this torrent's name is *false*, as far as I can tell. Maybe this torrent's subs work in other media players?

IMO, if you do NOT need subtitles, THIS is the superior torrent, because the AVI's are higher bitrates and IMO the color is slightly better.
