The story is centered on a group of tattered (a failed thief, a pathetic mammon, two cretin brothers who make the parody of Laurel and Hardy, the sergeant of iron, the fascist, the general homosexual and others) who have nothing better to do that enlist in a ramshackle Italian-Germanic army that must fight against an unidentified enemy.
