The owners apologized to the ex-con waiter for believing that he was responsible for the theft. The narrator reveals that the former waitress was never heard from again. The ex-con waiter maintained his loyalty and celebrated his 10-month anniversary at Cheeseburger Baby. The owners implemented a new register to prevent thefts.
