Buster Keaton (Comprehensive Classic Film Collection) 1917 to 1941
78 classic films, including alternative and censored scenes.

Buster Keaton started in silent films as a slapstick side-kick charator next to silent film star, Fatty Arbuckle. In 1921, Arbuckle was accused of rape and his career was ruined. Keaton moved on, making his own silent and talkie movies which made him famous.

This collection contains most of his classic silent and talkie films, many of which have gone through restoration.

Thank-you, this is great! Buster Keaton (as well as Harold Lloyd) were absolutely crazy and stood out from their other acting peers because they actually did the dangerous stunts depicted in their films. In those days there was no actors union, nor did they ever provide life insurance for actors on the job; in addition, nobody was using body harnesses an pull cables like they do in the Wolverine films hand to hand combat scenes today for example, so in the scene for instance when the entire side of the house falls on him, and he completely escapes harm only because his body fits through the small window frame when it hits the ground, they simply lined it up the best they could, pushed it over and hope for the best. Man, can you even imagine Huge Ackman doing that! :_:D

The negatives to most of Lloyd's older films were lost in a house fire, so there's not much of comprehensive collection to work from. I'll see what we can put together.

Your library of TV classics is greatly appreciated. The addition of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton films makes it even better. I've been trying for years to find good quality copies of these silent and talkie films. You have no idea how much I appreciate your work. :_love
