 | . I'm OLD and have to find ways to fill all of my free time  BUT not as old as these dinosaurs!. I look up stuff on IMDB several times a day and at least one of those enquiries will not be a quick visit. I begin with looking up a TV programme, a film or an actor and a link leads me to something of interest. Which leads to another page. And before I know it I have been on IMDB for two hours  . I have a 42" telly as my monitor so I much prefer 1080p (but 2160p is even better). . So when someone says that a 1080p version of "Walking With Dinosaurs" doesn't exist that gets my curiosity spiked and I have to go and check out this claim. I didn't hold out much hope as it is 25 years old - but none of my regular torrent sites had a 1080p. . So it was on to the torrent search engine sites - which can be very useful. But not today, although I did find a 1080p version of the 2023 film. - The trailer looks very good - but the dinos seem to be talking so it may be better suited to the kids. . Then I started thinking about uploaders who may have some old stuff hanging around - and are still seeding it. . B-I-N-G-O, on the first search I hit the bullseye. In the forums of a group (of which I have been a member for some time) I found references to this series IN 1080p  . And there was a .torrent file for each of the six episodes. A quick test was called for - Episode 1 downloaded in less than three minutes!. So, I now have all six episodes in 1080p  and the 30Gb film will be complete in about an hour or so. It looks as if I'm going to have a dinosaur weekend.. The IMDB search revealed that the BEEB is working on yet another WWD 6-parter about paleontologists excavating a specific creature per episode. I wonder how many more series they can get out of these fossilised bones. . I can't really publish a link to the forums of the group but with a bit of mooching around you may find the video you desire. . Happy hunting . ps. gosh, that three hours went quickly . |
