This was one of my favorite Christmas movie discoveries, about three Christmases ago.

Aloysius T. McKeever is an expert squatter, spending the winter occupying a NYC mansion and wearing their expensive clothes while the owners are someplace warm. He's a generous man and invites a stranger who needs a place to come join him. You'll probably recognize him as Ozzie and Harriet's nextdoor neighbor:

The female lead is the daughter of the rich owners but she poses as another squatter.

The community grows. Romance happens. Tension builds when the owners find out about the squatters. As all good Christmas movies do, it ends with everyone happy with each other, futures set up nicely, and family members growing closer.

This movie is my #2 recommendation for Part 2, after after #1 "Love Actually (2003) Mini-Sequel - Red Nose Day Actually IMDB=7.1", discussed below.
