I recently watched the original version of Akira remastered in 4K and, frankly, I wasn't very impressed with the quality of the image and sound. So I decided to do something about it, because this movie deserves a proper restoration. The colors and clarity of detail have improved significantly compared to the official remaster.
This release is just a preview. It contains the first 4 chapters, which is equivalent to 10 minutes of footage.
The full version will be released soon, and will contain some extras (I’m still working out a few details).
