Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on simple, user-friendly hardware and software, designed to make electronics accessible to a wide range of users, from beginners to advanced professionals. The platform consists of a physical programmable circuit board, often referred to as a microcontroller, and a software component called the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
