I gave this a chance but no more after watching the first 2 episodes. This is suppose to be about the origin of NCIS Jethro Gibbs which meant back in the 1960s when he was just starting out and yet, there are 3 female characters in it including one who is his boss, totally impossible in the 1960's for a woman to be in charge of the investigative division of the U.S. Navy. The other 2 female character, one is a NCIS agent , which is also impossible back then. All 3 female characters are portrayed like today's female characters, thinking men are toxic, chauvinistic, mysoginistic, etc. Women in the 1960-1980's didn't think that way If you are going to write a show set in the past, at least be accurate. |
