Tom and Goldy, both nervously excited, are finally going on their first official date, Tom going all out for tickets to a reunion concert of The Faithfuls, Goldy and Marla's favorite band as teenagers. The band disbanded twenty years ago following the death of its songwriter and bassist Abby Flannagan in a car accident. The band's longtime manager Nicola Martens has only now been able to convince the remaining three estranged band members, guitarist Derek Russo, lead vocalist Selena, and drummer Jax Flannagan (Abby's brother) to reconvene for this one time only reunion concert in tribute to Abby. Nicola, treating this event like old times in considering them all as family, even rehires their longtime sound engineer and electrician, Sam Baker. Goldy is surprised to learn that Richard, who never liked the band, is also attending the concert with his new girlfriend, Claire Weller, a superfan in being the president of the band's worldwide fan club. The nature of the date changes at the last minute when Goldy is hired to do the catering for the band, Goldy and Tom who will still be able to spend much of the evening at the concert together.
