| Are you here hoping for a horror or thriller that won't leave you disappointed two hours later? Let me venture a guess that this movie is not going to scratch that itch. It may be good, it may even be great... but experience and common sense tells me that it's likely not going to be either. Hopefully, I am wrong. BUT... instead of rolling the dice, how about watching a verified slow burn horror? I mention this because the the US remake will hit the platforms soon, likely to fall short of the original. It's slow, it's Danish, it's a little demented, and it's likely better than the US version will be (despite having a good cast from what I see). Anyway, if you're hear looking for something to watch that you'll likely think about for a day or two after watching, this may be for you. You'll want to have seen the original before the remake is released. If you're familiar Funny Games, and the US remake, this is going to be along those lines.
