 | Well, it was ok imo. 6.5/10. It was just kind of flat and didn't know what to be: political commentary, romance, comedy, period drama, alt history/historical fiction...it was pieces of all that melded together into one amorphous blob that didn't really have a point. Jim Rash had the best character and was the most fun. Channing, Scarlett and Woody were, as always, serviceable but never really convincing. OK movie that could of been much better with a better cast and firmer plot imo. |

Poor Channing ends up playing straight-man most of the movie, but ScarJo is a total crazy woman - with a good heart, doncha know! The plot is frankly far-fetched, but keeps you guessing. ScarJo deserves a lot of credit, too, for letting her changing body - just go ahead and change. I respect that a lot. I don't think she will, but please don't have any "work" done, if you know what I mean! Feel a little bit bad about the bad guy in the flic - Woody Harrelson drew the short straw, I guess. But it all ends well. You're going to like this one! |
